Voting to be represented by NYSNA could cost you up to $1,827 a year in union dues.

The National Labor Relations Act REQUIRES LIJ to provide NYSNA and the NLRB with the names, home addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of all nurses eligible to vote in the upcoming election.

Why Pay Dues For What You Already Have?

LIJ wants to make sure you have all the facts you need to make a fully informed decision about voting in the upcoming election once it is scheduled.

While NYSNA may be making a bunch of promises and “guarantees,” the truth is nothing is ever guaranteed in collective bargaining. The process often takes over a year and, in the end, you may end up with more, the same, or even less than when you started.

NYSNA might say their dues only cost a small percentage of your income every month, but over time, that can really add up.
